SIGNS OF LIFE

Sometimes it seems so hard to open my eyes.

Is it the fear of what I won’t see?

A fear that I will see nothing blinds me.

 

Then someone whispers in my ear:

“Stop. You are not alone. We are all here.”

I feel my body, standing in the street,

in the forest, in the kitchen, in the meadow –

the breath of the Earth caresses my cheek,

a dog barks, a leaf falls from a tree to my path,

Step out of Time – Go on! There is nothing to lose:
